Pesto World Championship, a symbol of Ligurian identity in the world, will be held on 23 March 2024 at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa.

Genoa will be colored with basil green: there will be many side events of the event, meetings with experts, show cooking and tastings.

Born in 2007, it has become, over the years, a symbol of Ligurian identity in the world, the World Mortar Pesto Championship is a competition open to all, professionals, amateurs and cooking enthusiasts, as long as they are of age.
