The Ocean Race, Genova the grand finale 2023

Genoa, world capital of sailing, hosts The Grand Finale, the final stage of The Ocean Race, the crewed sailing around the world.

A historic event which, together with the Olympics and the America’s Cup, represents the grand slam of sailing, arrives in Italy for the first time on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, and chooses Genoa as the city to compete in the final phase of the round-the-world regatta, with a long journey over 6 months.

The departure is scheduled for next January 15 from Alicante (Spain) and the arrival is expected in Genoa with the "Grand Finale" from June 24 to July 2, 2023. In addition to the finish of the Ocean Race, there will be the "In Port Race” and “The Ocean Race Legends 50th Anniversary Regatta”.

The Genoa Pavilion was inaugurated inside the Ocean Live Park in Alicante on the occasion of the departure, on January 15th, of the great regatta The Ocean Race 2023. A pavilion for immersing yourself, also thanks to virtual reality, in the beauties of the beautiful city of Genoa and the Ligurian Riviera, making the many incoming visitors discover the excellence of our territory and the made in Liguria.
